Product labels on a roll (Labels & Stickers)

Product labels on a roll
Labels for jars, boxes, bottles, packaging and cosmetics – from jewellery to handmade soap – wound on a roll so they can be applied by hand or with a labelling machine. See also Bottle and can labels: sizes pre-set for the most common bottles and cans. From 500 pcs, so a first small batch or a first brew gets its label without ordering thousands up front. Paper or moisture-resistant film, five shapes, all standard sizes. The price shows instantly in the calculator. Most orders are ready in 3–4 working days. Printed in the EU, delivered across Europe.
Shapes and sizes
Round Ø40–150 mm, square 40×40–150×150 mm, rectangular 30×75–98×300 mm, oval 40×60–100×200 mm and custom shapes — pick the shape and size in the calculator. If your bottle or jar needs a size that is not listed, send a quote request: we cut the shape digitally, no die is needed.
Quantities and delivery
500 to 10,000 pcs. The unit price drops noticeably with quantity, because set-up is the same for 500 and 5,000 labels — if you know you will sell 3,000 jars this year, order them at once. Most orders are ready in 3–4 working days; large quantities and large formats take up to 8, and we confirm the exact date when we accept the order.
Material – which for what
- Paper, matt 80 g – the classic label paper, best price-to-print-quality ratio. For dry packaging, boxes and pantry jars: honey, jam, dry goods, tea, coffee. Not for the fridge, damp rooms, PP/PE plastic or curved surfaces under 5 cm in diameter — choose film there. Apply at +5 °C or above.
- Film, matt white – moisture- and tear-resistant, a restrained matt surface that stays legible in bright light. Chilled products, cosmetics, soaps, candles, anything handled with wet hands.
- Film, gloss white – equally durable, the gloss boosts colour and contrast. Beer, cider and drinks bottles that sit in an ice bucket and sweat on the shelf; cosmetics where the design sells.
- Film, clear – the label edge disappears, only the design shows. Glass and plastic packaging where the pack or its contents is part of the design: oils, syrups, kombucha, cosmetics. Colours print slightly translucent on clear film — ask before printing over dark contents.
All materials have permanent adhesive, service temperature −20…+80 °C. Films are not suitable for PVC or plasticised plastics. On a cold bottle, let the adhesive bond at room temperature.
Unwind direction
The unwind direction shows which edge of the label comes off the roll first: 1 – top first, 2 – bottom first, 3 – right side first, 4 – left side first. For hand application any direction works. For a labelling machine, check the manual for which edge must lead and pick the matching picture in the calculator. Not all manufacturers use the same numbers, so compare the picture, not just the number. A roll wound the wrong way can’t be used in the machine.
What a food label must carry
The design is yours, but three things are worth checking before you send the file: mandatory information (name, ingredients, allergens, net quantity, producer) needs an x-height of at least 1.2 mm; a barcode needs clear space around it and must not be smaller than 80% of nominal size; leave a blank area for the lot number and best-before date if you print those yourself later. Not sure? Send us the file before ordering and we will tell you what will not be legible off the roll.
Design – three ways
- Design it yourself in our online studio: logo, text, background.
- Upload your own file – PDF with 2 mm bleed on every side; templates for every size are under the Templates tab above.
- Order the design – send a quote request with your content and we prepare the label, food information included.
Roll or sheet
The roll is right from 500 labels or when you apply by machine. For smaller runs, say 50 gift jars or one trade fair, see the sheet-cut round, rectangular or oval stickers — same materials, from 25 pcs. If the product hangs rather than stands, see hang tags.
Not exactly the product you need?
For more than 10,000 labels, a custom size or shape, textured wine-label paper, kraft, silver or recycled-content stock, an adhesive for cold and damp surfaces, or white print on clear film, send us a quote request — we reply within one working day.
