A folded leaflet holds four to six pages but stays flat in the mailbox and in a pocket. It works as a price list, a service overview, an event programme or a product guide – wherever the two sides of a flyer are too small. Fold types
Half fold – one fold, four pages. C fold – two folds in the same direction, the panels roll over each other, six pages; the content opens in sequence. Z fold – two folds in opposite directions, the leaflet opens like an accordion and all six pages are visible at once. Gate fold – the outer panels fold to the centre and open like shutters; right when the middle carries one large picture or message. The fold is chosen in the calculator by format.
Papers
- Silk – matt coated paper with a silky surface, accurate colours, no glare. The most universal choice. 130, 150 or 250 g.
- Gloss – glossy coated paper, photos and colours at full strength. 130, 150 or 250 g.
- Uncoated paper – matt, with an office-paper feel, a pen writes on it. For price lists and info leaflets. 120 or 250 g.
- 100% recycled fibre paper – white uncoated paper made entirely from recovered fibre, carrying the Blue Angel ecolabel. The most environmentally friendly choice in our range. 120 or 250 g.
130 and 150 g are the usual leaflet weights and fold cleanly. 250 g is creased before folding so the fold does not crack – a rigid leaflet for a price list that is kept for a long time. Printing is always double-sided (4/4). We do not laminate leaflets: film stiffens the fold and it breaks.
Design – three ways
- Pick a template and replace the text, pictures and logo with your own.
- Design it yourself in our online studio from a blank page.
- Upload your own file – PDF at the flat size, 3 mm bleed on every side; keep text and logos at least 5 mm from the edge and from the fold, and do not mark fold lines on the file. Template files are under the Templates tab above. If the file is not ready yet, order now and send the file later.
Quantities and delivery
Quantities 50 to 5,000; the unit price falls with quantity. A one-time set-up fee of €26 covers file checking and machine set-up. Ready in 2–4 working days. Printed in the EU, delivered across Europe.
When a folded leaflet, when something else
A folded leaflet is right when you have 4–6 pages of content and the piece has to fit a pocket or an envelope. If two sides are enough, a flyer is cheaper. For the table, a menu.
