Foil-stamped business cards

Gold, silver, white or black foil on the front of the card or on both sides. On white board the design is printed in full colour and the foil is added on top; on coloured board the design is printed in white or tone-on-tone gloss and the foil goes on top. 100 pcs from €83 (excl. Sizes and quantities

Three sizes: 90×50 mm, the European standard 85×55 mm and a 55×55 mm square, all at the same price. Quantities from 100 to 500 pcs. Larger runs on request.

Foil

The foil is hot-pressed onto the card with a metal die, one card at a time. The surface is glossy and raised to the touch. Four colours: gold, silver, white (for coloured board) and black. One colour. In the calculator, choose foil on the front only or on both sides; two colours on request.

Papers

• Uncoated matt board 340 g and coated silk board 300 g – white, design printed in full colour on both sides, foil on top. White foil is not offered on these.
• Blue 300 g, green 320 g, light brown 300 g, black 380 g, red 320 g – solid-dyed uncoated boards. Printed in white or in glossy toner matching the paper tone (spot-varnish effect), foil on top. Gold or white on dark board is the strongest combination on this product.

Soft touch lamination gives a velvety surface and protects the print; it is available on all papers. Corners can be rounded.

File

The foil needs its own layer: add a separate page to the PDF for each foil side, with the foil area in 100% black and everything else white. Vector artwork, text outlined. Lines at least 0.3 mm, type at least 7 pt, at least 3 mm between foil and trim edge. Pressing card by card, the foil may shift up to 0.5 mm against the print — do not place foil exactly on a printed edge. Templates are under the Templates tab above; the ready-made designs have foil on both sides.

Lead time

The die is made separately and adds 2–3 working days. Cards are ready in 5–6 working days.

Several names in one order

Each name is a separate product and a separate die if the foil covers the name. If the foil is only on the logo, all names can share one die — send a quote request and we make one offer.
